Pheww. Just finish CLT revision class+awesome dinner with Careen and Fib and POS prac.
Now i'm back to finishing my storyboard and all those IFTP docs.
I need God to help me.

Happy 1,095, 26,280 hours, 1,576,800 minutes, 94,608,000 seconds to us! :)

How time flies.

Its been three years.

I think I'm really blessed by God with an awesome life partner and I'm truly grateful.

He has never failed to be by my side when I needed him the most.

I give him 5 stars for that!

Well, on this very special day I would like to dedicate this post to him.

The top three qualities I love about him:

1. He's very loving.

Thank you for accepting me for who I am. I know I definitely do not have the best gf qualities!

2. He's awfully patient

Thank you for always being the calm one, and for never getting angry with all the stupid mistakes I made.

3. He's always trying to do his best for me
I'm always unreasonable but you never stop trying. :)

Thank you for makking the last 3 years so amazing. I thank God for you and I will always do. You are more than I ever hoped for. I am looking forward to growing old with you.

Celebrity craze

I've been lucky enough to see quite a number of Spore celebs these few days..

Saw Jasmine Tye (Singapore Idol finalist)

and Annabelle Francis, Sheikh Haikel's wifey, an actress and host.

Jamie Yeo!

Never in my dreams would I dream of meeting famous DJ, actress, model, VJ and host, celebrity Jamie Yeo!

Who is she?

Some of u may ask.

She was a radio DJ from Spore's hottest radio station 9.87 fm whom I (I'm pretty sure all the young people in Spore and JB) use to follow when I was younger.

She's also an actress and I enjoy watching her shows.

She is now a TV presenter and host for ESPN and STAR Sports Asia.

When I was in my secondary school days, my friends and family use to say that I look like her.

Dee calls her my twin. haha. By now, four people just said I look like her d.

Well, I guess we both have big eyes, big mouth and we have tanned skin.

But nevertheless, people use to relate me to Jamie all the time.

But I personally think that I don't really look like her now d.

Okay, so here's the details you guys have been waiting for.

2) Is she tall?

Jan and I was on our way out when Jamie and her bf, Thorson was happily pushing their trolley into Cold Storage Vivo City.

At that time, I must say we were like hypnotized or smthg. Haha.

Mesmerized by how gorgeous she was.

She is tall, tanned, simple and very BEAUTIFUL.

Just nice at that time daddy called me and I was explaining to him that we were outside Cold Storage peeping at her like little kids. Daddy asked me to go take a pic with her.

I was like, "Yeah hor, take pic!!!"

We were just tooo excited to even think about taking photos.

Soooo... we were outside having our little discussion.

What if she says no? What if she rejects us??? =/

But I guess I'll definitely feel worse if I had missed the opportunity of not asking at all.

And so I went. (Wheee, I don't even know where all the courage came from!)

*Took a deep deep breath* Here goes:

Me: Hi! *smiles* Do you mind if we take a photo with you? *smiles even more*

Jan: (almost fainting but still smiling)

Jamie: Hi! Ohh, No...... I don't mind! *smiles* (put her hand on my shoulder)

(At that part where she dragged her no...... my heart dropped and I was so ready to say, ohh.. its ok, thank you..turn around run and hide.. until I heard the "I don't mind!" or maybe I was just paranoid when she said no.. i dont mind! haha!)

Jan: (Passed the camera to her bf)

Jamie: (Introduces us to her bf) Thats' my boyfriend, Thorson! (:

Jan and I couldn't concentrate on shopping anymore and we just babbling and babbling about her. Hehe.

Singapore 2010

It was a wonderful experience and opportunity that I was able to spend a day with the CHCKL worship team, Pastor, my dearest Jan jan and my darling in Singapore yesterday.

Grace Methodist Church, Spore

The service was great. The worship was good, pastor's preaching was powerful and the congregation were responsive.

We had lunch at a restaurant nearby.

Laksa steamboat.

Have you ever heard of laksa steamboat? haha.

I haven't.

It was surprisingly nice.

Jan and I was supposed to catch a one-stop bus ride to Vivo City, just around the corner.

Pastor forbade us from doing so and he insisted on fetching us there. So nice of him.

I'm glad that I was able to meet baby after ONE WHOLE MONTH of not meeting each other.

I enjoyed myself. And so did Jan.

It is a joy to witness the two of them growing up and looking more and more like each other, sharing a strong sisterly bond that is undescribable.

Can you tell which is Skippy and which is Cookie?

Even we get confused sometimes!

The dajie: Skippy

The xiao mei: Cookie

They fight, they bite, they play and they even sleep together.

I sense that they're gonna miss each other when Cookie gets back to KL.

And I'm gonna miss Skip.

I'm a proud mama.

Electronics and me= enemies

Electronics and I don't get along well.

I'm actually pretty sick of gadgets but ironically, at the same time, it is something that the people of this generation including me, cannot live without.

Is it that bad?

Yes!

Let me tell you why.

All my handphones seem to be dying on me.

(except for my Nokia 8250 which i used when I was 15..)

-Had a brand new Samsung U700, and had to repair the LCD, music and so on in less than 6 months

-I dropped it into the toilet bowl in Sunway Pyramid after only like 8 months aft I bought it??!!

-And then I bought the exact U700 (cos I still love it so much) and I have to repair it cos I can't hear anything when smone calls me

-In less than 6 months, Cookie bit it and now it looked like some rock from outer space

-Baby bought me a new Nokia for my birthday and it is now being a naughty phone

having its PMS!

Whatever phone I use, and no matter how hard I try to maintain and handle it with care..

It would still give me problems.

Why so sad one! ):

My laptop toooo.

I changed the whole piece of LCD screen and the internal CDrom, if which I add up the cost of repairing, I would probably have been able to get a brand new laptop. Grrr..

And now my lappie's batt is giving me headache.

I have to permanently live on charging the lappie to the power source from now on.

I would have totally given up on electronics if if if was only that easy.

I should probably migrate to a cave and cut myself off from all technologies.

I think I could, I think I would, I think I should.

1. Sleep

Every morning, I get to sleep as long as I want to..

And I wake up just in time to have lunch. :P

My mum calls me a sleepy pig head.

Sleeping is my hobby, what to do?

2. Wake Skippy and Cookie up

It is my duty to wake the two sleepy (Skip & Cookie) heads up, as they sleep as long as I do.
Sometimes they turn in even earlier, but they wake up way later than me.
What a pig!

3. Go Online

I on the lappie, check my emails, check my fb, update my status, blog about something random, feed the workers in my restaurant city and sometimes read up on people's blogs.

4. Chauffeur

I accompany mummy to wherever she wants to go. Be it fetching Lyn from JB customs, to getting groceries or shopping..

I hope that I get paid real sooon! :P

5. Eat

When you're on holidays, food is something that you think about 24/7.

Every day I have to think of what and where to eat for lunch and what to cook for dinner.

This was my lunch ystd. My fav, Kimchi!!

6. Work

Mummy is kind enough to give me some work to do.
For eg, designing for Powerkids Church/ PKA, type her duty roster, a lot of designing and so on..
My aunty also gave me some translating job to do. To translate her sermon from English to Malay.. I've been doing that for some time as soon as she found out that I got an A for BM for SPM. Which was centuries ago..
My malay standard is equivalent to a primary 3 standard.

And I get paid. (:

7. Watch TV

Watch a lot a lot of TV. :oP My family will sit in front of the TV at 5 pm. It will last till around 12 am. Its still family bonding time rte? (: We're following Korean Drama "The Cruel Temptation" and its getting really exciting. Yum.

And so, this is what I do everyday.

Not really interesting but I don't mind that kind of life.

Until I go back to KL, I shall continue to be a pig and be recharged,

mentally, physically, spiritually..

So that I am able to study harder!

Congratulations my dearest twin, Ziling and her hubby, KY!

It was a fun and memorable day for all of us who attended their wedding.

I couldn't make it for the jie mei dinner the night before her wedding..
They had briefing and was told that they have to recite the chinese "4 blessing words".

So on that day, I had to memorize the words and I was sooooo stressed.

When Ziling saw me, she was laughin and sayin..

"Chelle!! Why you look so stressed up :P??"

Indeed, thank God I manage to say it all fluently, in chinese smore! woohoo!

Cookie

I finally understand how it feels to love someone with all your heart.
How great a mother's love is towards her child.
Any parent would love their children no matter how bad, naughty, useless they are.
Likewise.. I love Cookie tho she's so active and naughty most of the time.
I love her sooooooo much. (:
Other than her looks, she's so different from Skippy.
She is active while Skippy's not.
She is lively, loves to jump and is never still.
Yet I find her every move so cute and my love towards her grow day by day.
Yes, at times we do tend to compare the both of them.. but bear in mind that they are two different individuals.
Each of them have their own strong points and weak point. God create each and everyone of us uniquely in our own ways.
There is no one person on Earth who is identical.
I love Skippy as much as Cookie.
So here, I would like to stand up for Cookie.. and say..
"Please love me for who I am"

Am I too skinny?

"Why are you so skinny?"
"Aiyohh, so thin!"
"Why? You never eat ah?"

These are the few phrases I hate to hear the most.
To those who know me, I do eat.
In fact, a lot a lot. Not a big portion a meal, but a lot of meals.
I eat chocolates, nuts, ice cream and I love junk food.

I did not choose to be thin. I was born thin.
I have smaller bones, smaller frame, smaller figure.
I don't starve myself, I eat.
But I just don't get fat.

I'm tired of being thin.
Not that I chose to. I don't have a choice.
Please accept me for who I am.

Well, it should be a joyous event (:
2009 has been a year where I'm sure everyone have their ups and downs.
It has been a year where friends come and go.
Nevertheless I do have 100 reasons to thank God for.
